Webinar: Accelerating Improvement through Action Research
December 10 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am
We’re thrilled to partner with AMISA to bring you an insightful webinar on supporting multilingual learners. Join Jon Nordmeyer, MLRC School Network Director, and Dr. Esther Bettney Heidt, MLRC School Network Researcher, to discover how research-based strategies can help you create a more inclusive and effective learning environment for your students. Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to enhance your approach to multilingual education!
Research is essential to design, evaluate, and improve learning – and connecting practical wisdom with systemic tools of inquiry closes the gap between research and practice. Many international school leaders want to develop their school’s capacity to engage with and in educational research, and accreditation standards often point to collaborative inquiry and action research as school improvement strategies. This session will share insights from projects designed and implemented at MLRC partner schools as well as future opportunities for international schools to participate in research. The MLRC School Network is a university-based, research-practice partnership committed to learning about and improving outcomes for multilingual students.
