Opportunities to engage with MLRC to explore research insights into teaching multilingual learners.

  • Esther Bettney Heidt presents on DIME Framework at NALDIC

    Drawing on research conducted with international schools, Dr. Esther Bettney Heidt will propose her Decolonizing International Multilingual Education (DIME) framework, a tool to support schools as they consider how to approach language from a critical, decolonial lens. The framework includes an introduction to relevant, decolonial theory, as well as practical application of theory through reflective questions and possible actions for educators to consider as they engage in decolonizing work within their own particular context.
